We make what you write look beautiful. That's our job

We routinely edit theses and manuscriptsconference presentations, CVs and applications for promotionassignments, and client reports. We make sure that your writing is clearly articulated, that your ideas are logically and intelligibly presented, and that there is a clear progression of complexity or reasoning in its flow. In other words, without all of the big words, we improve what you have written

We'll improve what you write

We are here to help you prove to others that you know what you are talking about, and that your writing is free of distracting spelling and grammatical errors, and format inconsistencies

We offer substantive and copy edits, and proofreading services

Quotes or estimates are available, and discounts apply for returning clientele, and for referrals

Step 1

To ensure we can help you, it is important that you contact us in advance. We cannot work miracles, but with enough notice we can come close

Step 2

Have your document ready, preferably in MS Word. You'll need to be familiar with the 'Track Changes' option in MS Word. If you are not then don't worry. We'll help you

Step 3

Send us your file and then relax. Whatever you do, please do not continue to edit your file when you have just sent us, the one that we are (almost certainly) now working on! Click here to understand why

Step 4

After we return the file to you, you correct answer any question we may have asked, and accept of reject those changes that we have made or suggested. When you are happy with the edited document then send it to wherever it is meant to go (e.g., client, teacher, journal, or for binding [thesis]). However, if you have any further questions, have added a little text that you want checked, or you'd just like us to check your document a further time, then return it to us (and you can do this twice) for a free proofreading and query check

Step 5

We will invoice you. A guide to possible costs based on word count is here
